In Andrew D. Hathaway’s article “CANNABIS EFFECTS AND DEPENDENCY CONCERNS IN LONG-TERM FREQUENT USERS: A MISSING PIECE OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH PUZZLE” (2003), “examines the perceived cost s and benefits of cannabis consumption” (Hathaway 441) that show that the “reported advantages outweigh the negative use outcome” (Hathaway 441).
